3 - 4' Wasn't expecting that much after work but was greatly surprised to see peaks up and down the beach that looked pretty surfable although a bit mushy in places. Water has finally warmed up too. I could have worn no booties! Lefts were the call while the rights were pretty soft. Caught a nice overhead left that had a huge carvable slow down section in it were I probably pulled the best backside roundhouse I've ever felt. Tide started filling in more towards dark and making it increasingly soft. Fun session. |

2 - 3' After nothing for a week or so (rumor had it there was a small south running yesterday and the day before up north) we got a little bump up in northwest wind swell. Super fun lefts out front. Peaky and shifty with very light crowd. Sandbars on north side of pier have been better than south side which is real unusual. |

2 - 3' some 4' After two days of blown out shit it actually was looking quite surfable. Super crowded up and down the beach in PB with most areas dishing up decent peaks. Parking Lot looked clean. Go down there and it was good but extremely crowded. Take of zone was a roller allowing any goon on a long board to get in super early. Sandbar is in top quality there from all this rain. Managed to sneak some waves through the inside that were pretty fun although a little soft. Couldn't take the crowd for to long and went in after an hour. Was walking around in the afternoon and noticed there was no one out at the Lot so went down there again. Smaller and mushier but surfed with one other guy for about an hour until some other guys paddled out. Beautiful day. |

3 - 5' + It's been lumpy for about two weeks now form this crazy winter like weather and it's showing. There was a slight break in the storm as I pulled into the parking lot at the cliffs. Not a soul around. Looked down at Nubes and it seemed to breaking although it looked scetiony. Get down there and two guys were on the beach getting ready to paddle out. It was one of those days where it swirls from the current and chop. The rip when it's big and stormy there is pretty sketchy pulling you outside super quick and always seeming to pull directly into the impact zone. Many waves breaking wide into the bay and really far outside. Through all this there were some good waves. Caught about two really nice overhead waves the whole way through. Didn't catch a lot because most of the time it was a battle with the rip, but the waves I did were all quality. Glad to get onshore with my arms total noodles. |

2 - 4' + Super lumpy after the storm blew through at gale force the night before. The lot however, was holding some sort of form, although it was bumpy. Tide was high and conditions were glassy helping things out. Got a few good ones but had to be real choosy. Most were sectiony or either nice drops and then flat faces. Got a few real rippable ones but lots of bump making not for the greatest faces. |
