Reed St.	08/29/06 6:30 am - 8:30 am	1 - 2' some 3' Looked like a few rights in the half light on the medium tide. Get out there and it was absolutely terrible. Caught one decent left and thats it.
OB Jetty	08/28/06 6:30 am - 8:30 am	1 - 2' some 3' Biggest surf I've seen in weeks and that's not saying much. A few chest high sets opening up off the bounce but the tide rolling in pretty much shut it down and almost had to walk in.
OB Jetty	08/26/06 6:30 am - 8:30 am	1 - 2' Small and pathetic. Just a few heads but really no surf from the hurricane. Another bust.
OB Jetty	08/25/06 5:30 am - 7:00 am	1 - 2'+ A tad more swell if you can call it that. Hurricane swell passing us by and very minimal southern hemi energy. A few waves on the low but incoming shut it down quickly.
OB Jetty	08/24/06 5:30 am - 7:00 am	1 - 2'+ Minimal swell out of the south from a way over hyped southern hemi and a tad of hurricane swell. Inconsistent small and weak except for a few sets. Conditions stellar too bad nothing really going on.
Black's	08/09/06 5:30 am - 7:00 am	2 - 4' South swell on a major fade and some new sloppy wind swell in the mix. Was the first one out at twilight and caught about four or five really good lefts near middle peak as the tide started to move off low. The hordes arrived after that and it became real sectiony as the tide started to push. OK.
OB Jetty	08/08/06 5:30 am - 7:30 am	2 - 4' + Swell on the down swing and the jetty bar finally taking a toll from a pretty good run of swell most of the summer. Dumpy and fast on the low. Got a bit better when the tide rose and the smaller waves were wedging and bouncing off the jetty opening up nicely for some big fans. Crowd not as hectic as the day before so overall not too bad.
OB Jetty	08/07/06 5:30 am - 7:30 am	3 - 4' some 5+ Southern hemi peaking. 220 degree direction, so a lot of west in this swell, which isn't completely optimal for the jetty making it a wee bit straight on. Good early on the low tide with it actually bouncing off the jetty and firing along the line with some open face and some open barrels. As the tide drew in it became much more consistent but waves were cornering and closing out at a greater percentage. Got some pretty sick speed runs and a really nice tube. Crowd thick because it was good.
Swami's	08/06/06 6:00 am - 8:30 am	2 - 4'+ Major boost in southern hemi over night. Solid but inconsistent sets hitting the inside ledge. As long as you made it past the first soft section a nice lined up wall peeling through for multiple cracks. Fun.
Swami's	08/05/06 8:30 am - 10:30 am	1 - 3' Super clean this morning with a fading southern hemi and a little bit of wind swell. Sun out in the morning for one of those rare crisp and dry summer morning days. Unfortunately super crowded. Had to finagle even to get some two footers on the inside. Some tasty little waves though.
Swami's	08/04/06 5:30 am - 7:30 am	2 - 4' Southern hemi had peaked yesterday but still some energy out there. Some wind swell running too. The combo of waves working well on the inside while the outside was bigger but slopey. Conditions cooperating with very little wind. Caught some nice zippy and rippable waves on the inside so I was a satisfied customer.
Birdrock	08/03/06 5:30 am - 7:30 am	3 - 4' some 6'+ More lousy conditions as a persistent coastal eddy has had the water hacked up from the south to south west everyday since Saturday. Lots of short period bump trashing conditions in what would be a pretty solid southern hemi. A few workable rights but there was just too much slop crumbling the waves for a worthy session even with the size on the better sets. Disappointing.
OB Jetty	08/01/06 5:30 am - 7:00 am	2 - 3' some 4'+ New southern hemi. A lot of west in it and pretty straight. Just a light south east wind keeping conditions pretty smooth but left over lump and bump pretty noticeable from the hacking south winds of late. With a lot of west in the swell the bounce not working but with a the medium tide a few good shoulders to be found cornering wide for some speed runs and the odd lip opening up. Tide started pulling out and the wind picked up pretty much closing it out. Managed to nab a little cover up in. Fun.
