Black's	07/31/01 6:00 am - 8:00 am	2 - 3' Wind swell with no form and no push on the high tide making for poor conditions. Managed to squeak a few rights and lefts that weren't complete mushballs but overall the session was weak. It might have had promise on a negative tide. Who knows?
Black's	07/26/01 6:00 am - 7:30 am	1' Supposedly a south still running but I didn't see it. Just piddly wind swell waves with the real low tide. Barely surfable lefts popping up every five minutes or so. Terrible.
Black's	07/22/01 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm	2 - 3' some 4' More of the same combination southern hemi and wind swell with both backed off from yesterday making it much more inconssitent. Wind on it but was hoping for the mid afternoon glass off that Black's does but it didnt happen this time. Anyhow, there were some fun wind ruffled lefts if you choosed carefully that were real fast. Was having a good session until some guy lost his board right on top of me with his rail whacking me in the back solidly. Cuaght a couple more good ones but felt the back tightening up and went in. Back pretty sore today.
Swami's	07/21/01 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm	2 - 3' some 4' Some real fun mixed up waves all over the place today keeping the crowd thinned out. Would have been inconsistent but a pretty decent wind swell was keeping things moving. Nice wedges into speed walls from mid peak and on the inside that had a lot of face to work with. Caught some nice double ups on the inside that were actually pitching out little bowls. Real fun and a pleasure to surf frontside again.
Blacks	07/20/01 5:30 am - 7:30 am	1 - 3' Small windswell closeouts. Every once in awhile a south set would push through and form up a nice left. Super fast little waves with the extreme minus tide. Hadn't surfed in 18 days and my first wave felt funny but after that was right back in the groove. Just like riding a bike. Red tide looking and feeling disgusting. The news makes light of it describing how it glows at night but red tide is a sign of dirty water that the microrganisms like to feed off of.
Blacks	07/01/01 9:00 am - 11:30 am	2 - 3' Small mix of a new southern hemi and a tad of wind swell making for some fun left peaks. Better when the tide was lower at first because once the tide filled in it really softened up. Water in the high fifties - could of worn booties.
