Missouri St.	05/31/99 7:30 am - 9:30 am	1' - 3' Looks like there is a small south developing. Water is but ass cold and even more shocking to the system considering I just got back from Borrego where it was 102 degrees. Some fun lefts coming through that were real clean and sucky. Wind came up though and kind of ruined the cleanliness of the swell so went in.
Missouri St.	05/23/99 4:00 pm -6:00 pm	2' - 3' some 4' South swell has shifted more into our window and is dishing up some nice solid lines, but still inconsistent however. Real fun left coming off the north end of the Capri. Got one wave all the way through that was so lined up and clean it blew me away.
Newbreak	05/22/99 8:00 am -11:00 am	2' - 3' some 4' The much touted south swell was trickling into the Cliffs with 6 wave sets every five minutes or so, which made for extremely light crowds. Surfed fun Nubes with no more than two guys at a time. some nice head high sets were sneaking through every once in awhile. Clean with kelp fully grown back after this winters cold water was keeping it smooth even with the south wind. It was great to surf the new board in some real waves. Plenty of drive but oh so loose of the bottom. Next test is in the juice. Great session.
Missouri St.	05/20/99 5:30 pm -7:00 pm	2' - 3' some 4' Super windy in the afternoon junking things up. Went out anyhow and after about an hour and with a tidal shift a real wedgy right was popping up off Chalcedony. Pretty fun.
Missouri St.	05/18/99 7:30 pm -8:15 pm	1' - 2' Debated, debated and debated wether or not to go out. Windy, small, and junky. Went and got some dinner and came back it was sheet glassy and looking fun although small out front. Went out before dark and caught a couple decent ones but pretty soft all round.
Missouri St.	05/11/99 10:00 am - 12:00 pm	3' - 4' Junky but extremely rippable surf out front. The right in front of the Capri was standing tall for awhile although a bit sectiony. After about an hour with peak high tide, the left really started forming up the opposite direction reforming all the way inside. Real fun on the new board.
Parking Lot	05/15/99 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm	2 - 3' some 4' Much cleaner today but lacking the punch of yesterday, however, much more surfable. The Lot was uncrowded in the afternoon. Mushy on the outside while it would line up every once in a while on the inside. There was the few waves that actually did line up all the way through. The hideous onshore winds plaguing us backed down for a little while with the sun popping out helping things out. Sandbar is pretty spotty with cobble showing everywhere and making for a nice little rock hop on the way out.
Missouri St.	05/14/99 6:00 am - 7:30 am	2 - 3' some 4' Very junky this morning. Had some size but poor form wrecking what seems to be a decent northwest wind swell. Real sectiony and mushy. Struggled to get a few decent ones.
Missouri St.	05/11/99 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm	2 - 3' some 4' Some of the best inside action I've seen in awhile out front. Extremely crowded. Managed to sneak a few however from the outside all the way to the way inside for some fun rides. Insanely crowded or did I mention that already? Apparently last night was epic, but couldn't sample the goods seeing I was in that lame health class.
Parking Lot	05/08/99 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm	2 - 3' some 4' Junky with strong south winds. Low tide helping the lot out. A good face would throw across the bar every once and awhile and since all the longboarders were in the cove had the Lot to myself. Tried out my new board a 6'6", 18 5/8, 2 3/8 swallow tail. Not used to a board with less rocker and more thickness but once I got used to it the drive was great and the swallow is real loose. Can't wait to surf it in some real waves.
Missouri St.	05/05/99 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm	2 - 3' Same as the night before but glassing off and a little more inconsistent. The lefts had a lot more face than the rights which were pretty burger. Having a god session until some kook was flapping straight towards me and nearly ran over my head on the inside (swore he saw me until too late). Bailed my board real quick and his skegs took some glass off the nose of my 6'4". Very pissed.
Missouri St.	05/04/99 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm	2 - 3' Finally cleaned up but also made for everyone and their mother out in the lineup. Fun lefts coming through. Slightly mushy peaks with some sections throwing over hard. Not bad but not great.
